The BUB Liner "Seven" in the hauler

This is the crew of Max Lambky's Vincent Streamliner recovering the bike after a run.

Andy Sills racing for BMW on this bone stock 180 MPH plus bike.

What can you say, does it get any cooler than this?

Suzuki Hayabusa good for about 190 MPH right off the showroom floor!
The name Hayabusa translates directly from the Japanese as Peregrine Falcon,
the bird commonly attributed of achieving speeds of over 200 mph

These guys are developing diesel bikes for the military

This is a shot of Andy Sills and Erin Hunter after doing the only "Double-up" run ever at the BUB event.

Belen Wagner has been setting land speed records since she was 10.
She has 41 records to date 4 of which are world records.

One of Belen's bikes.

Another diesel bike for the troops.

This guy ran the wheels off this bike trying to just get 1 or 2 more MPH out of it.

John Noonan celebrates with ice cream after shattering the world record for a sit-on motorcycle.
259.393mph 2 way average. Turbo charged Suzuki Hayabusa

Notice the lead weights on the swing arm for better traction on the salt.

Butch Cook
Butch was seeing how fast this stock Suzuki M 109 could go on the salt.

Not your average Mom and Pop toy hauler.

This is the Vincent liner pits. This liner is powered by 2 antique Vincent motors.

This is the Ack Attack streamliner.
This bike is powered by 2 turbo charged Suzuki Hayabusa motors.
For the 2005 we only had 5 miles of groomed salt do to weather conditions.
I was working the 5 mile finish line that year.
The aforementioned John Noonan was testing the Ack Attack that day when he had a double parachute failure.
That means the main shoot failed to deploy then the back-up or "O SHIT SHOOT" also failed to deploy!
He coasted past my position traveling well over 200 MPH. I was at the end of the groomed track so I was only stationed
about 30 feet from the side of the track. John says he waved as he went by but this is not true.
I know this because I was close enough to read what kind of helmet he was wearing through the windshield!

This picture is were John finally stopped!
I took this picture with my camera on full zoom, it took him more than a mile to get the thing stopped.

Belen always travels with her own camera man.

One of the smaller liners

Another bike to scare the hell out of our enemies!

This was taken in 2005. Today the descendants of these bikes are deployed all over the world
in the service of the US Military! We do important stuff out here!

This is another bike Butch Cook brought out. This Honda CRF 450F went well over 100 MPH

The Bennett crew always go very fast.

Looking down the track facing east at "Floating Mountain"

These next few shots show how isolated my position was.
Ken and Arch dropped me off the first morning on the dark side of the moon, with a Pop-up, ice chest, chair and a radio
with the sage advice " you will be fine, you will pick it up fast once we start"
OK!

The BUDDFAB 50cc liner in the early years. They could only go like 130 MPH back then!

The boat ramp in the morning, Time to go racing!

The 5050 liner the early years.
